LUFC Expands With A New Merchandising Specialist and Social Media Manager

We eluded to this in a previous blog post, but we’re proud to announce we have found our candidates after weeks of searching! Today we’re proud to announce the new team members, Nissa “NissaKitty” Sesonske and Sara “Sarazaran” Clark! These individuals will help Level Up For Charity in their new roles. Nissa will be our new Social Media Manager, who will be assisting with our various social platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook, with a possibility of expansion to other platforms with her and Moises’ valued work. Sara will be assisting with our newly developed merchandise store, in which she will assist with items such as limited edition collections, new artwork and design, and much more.

NissaKitty is a 23-year-old who hails from the “Big Apple” state, New York! Well, Albany, NY, but close enough right? They started in their gaming path back in 4th Grade playing Lego Star Wars on the PC and also owned their first handheld, which was a black Nintendo DS Lite, with her first console being the Wii. She was first introduced to us here at LUFC through her current girlfriend, Sara, who actually knew Dylan from the wee days of middle school! Participation in LUFC prior to the announcement was scattered between the LUFC Dubs and Smash, but notably, the latter being her first on-stream participation with her Lucina in the arena. From there, she had wanted to be part of the Dubs Administration as a casting director and has ghostwritten several dubs for the LUFC social media pages. Here are just a few fun facts about them:

  • Bisexual, transgender/nonbinary, and polyamorous

    • Pronouns are she/they

  • They have 10 Monstergirl OC’s (Original Characters): A catgirl named Mimi, a demon named Eliza, and many others!

  • Favorite video game of all time is Bayonetta.

  • Favorite game franchises are (but not all) Fire Emblem, Persona, Ace Attorney and of course, Bayonetta.

  • Favorite game characters are (but not limited to) Camilla and Rhea (Fire Emblem), Ann Takamaki (Persona 5), and Jeanne (Bayonetta).

  • Favorite movies are Star Wars (series), The Great Gatsby, and Hamlet (2000)

Sarazaran is a 24-year-old from the “Golden State” of Valencia, CA, though she had spent the last 18 years in Las Vegas, NV. As the host of the Breaking the Lore podcast, along with NissaKitty, she discusses a myriad of obscure topics along with the occasional YouTube video creation. She also aspires to be a voice actor and has been a Dubs Administrator for LUFC prior to her promotion. She began her gaming career in 2000 when her sister had purchased a Game Boy Color and after receiving her own Color along with a copy of Super Mario Land 2 “when some guy left it at the restaurant my [her] uncle owned and never came back to retrieve it”, she was hooked to gaming and became the gateway to her favorite games such as Kid Icarus Uprising, Metroid, Pokemon, and more! Her participation in LUFC was through dubs, organizing our Level Up Dubs as Makoto Niijima, Maya Fey, Donald Duck, and others. Here are some other fun facts about her:

  • Favorite game series along with the ones above also include Donkey Kong, Style Savvy, and Earth Defense Force.

  • She has an interest in theme parks, along with their history.

  • She likes Star Wars, Godzilla, Jurassic Park, and the Disney Afternoon.

  • Her other hobbies outside of gaming include baking, puppetry, and toy photography.
